What are your hours of operation?
Where is your camp located?
Our base of operations is the St. Francis Center on the Pre-k side of the building on the grounds of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic school.
What are the requirements to attend Sunny Days?
In order to attend Sunny Days summer camp, your child must be enrolled at SKD for the upcoming school year or children of St. Bedes Parish.
Due to the demand from our school community for spots at Sunny Days, we are unable to take siblings of SKD students who do not attend our school.
What ages do you allow to attend your camp?
Our program is open to children who have completed Pre-K3 to those who have just completed 3rd grade.
Does my young child need to be toilet trained to come to camp?
Yes, children must be 100% toilet trained and independent in the bathroom to attend our camp. This includes being able to pull their shorts and underwear up and down without assistance, wipe themselves, and inform a counselor when they need to go to the bathroom with enough time to get there. Campers may not wear pull-ups to camp. Continuous bathroom accidents may require alternative arrangements.
How do I communicate with the camp?
Parents will be invited to join the ClassDojo App before the start of camp. This is how you will be contacted individually and as a group throughout camp and how you can contact the camp director. Feel free to stop in and talk with us anytime!
*Note: Messages sent after 5:00 pm will be responded to after 7:00 am the following day, and messages
